Can you explain your SiteLink IP offer?

SiteLink IP is a Multi-Protocol wide area network provisioned through the use of VLAN tagging, providing the end user with a private segment of the OTELCO Access Network. Our SiteLink IP offer is a fully meshed network topology allowing the customer to have complete control over IP Addressing, Subnetting and Routing.

Does OTELCO offer packages for small business?

At OTELCO we assess the individual needs of our customers, and provide them with cost effective voice and Internet services. We do offer business bundles and packages for small business. Does OTELCO offer Quality of Service on your network?

Yes, we offer ClearStream QoS, which allows our SiteLink IP customers to classify and prioritize certain applications on their SiteLink IP network and have a true End-to-End Quality of Service for applications such as VoIP, Video Conferencing, or critical data applications.

How does OTELCO address Business Continuity with your SiteLink IP offer?

A fully-meshed network plays an important role in business continuity. With our SiteLink IP service, an organization can quickly provision a DR site as “just another site on the WAN” in the event of a disaster at the main location. Using IP Addressing, all traffic would simply be routed to the alternate site.

How to Use Voicemail on Your HPBX Phone

Accessing your voicemail for the first time:

1. Dial *86
2. A tutorial will prompt you to set up your new password.
a) You will need to enter in a minimum of 6 digits
3. You will now be prompted to record your name.

4. You will now have the option to record a personalized busy and no answer greeting.

Please Note:  When calling VM from your home phone, by default, there is no access password required.  Should you wish for the system to require a password for voicemail access, please call 866-746-3873 and customer care will set that up for you.

1. From your home phone:
a) Dial *86
b) Proceed to item #3 below
2. From a phone outside your home
a) Dial your phone number
b) When your greeting starts, press *
c) A tutorial will ask you to enter your passcode
d) Proceed to item #3 below
3. A tutorial will walk you through options available
a) Press 1 to play messages
b) Press 2 to change Busy Greeting
c) Press 3 to change No Answer Greeting
4. While listening to a message you can:
a) Press 1 to skip back a few seconds
b) Press 2 to pause/resume message
c) Press 3 to fast forward a few seconds
d) Press 4 to skip to beginning of message
e) Press 6 to skip to end of message
f) Press 7 to delete message
g) Press # To save the message anytime while listening, or at the end of the message.
What can I expect for downtime when switching my services to OTELCO?

What is the difference between your ADSL and SDSL services?

Our SDSL is a business class service provisioned on a separate circuit with a Static IP. Varying levels of bandwidth options are available, depending upon the needs of the customer. ADSL is considered to be more of a residential class of service. A Static IP is not included, and the speeds are on a best effort basis.
