Alabama Christmas Parades

Blount County Christmas Parade

Date: December 10, 2019
Time: 7:00 pm

Coordinated by the Blount-Oneonta Chamber of Commerce, this annual parade will also bring Santa to town, along with many outstanding floats, cars, and other entries.  A little elf dropped by the OBA to say there will be snow at this year’s parade!  If you’d like to register an entry in the parade, contact Barbara Andersen at #ob#oneonen#at#oybhagbarbagnpunzore.bet#ob#.

“Year of Our Stories” Parade – Boaz, AL

2019 Promises to be a GREAT year for the annual Christmas Parade. Start planning your float NOW and be sure to invite all your family & friends to attend.  Hundreds of floats, horses, bands, and Old Saint Nicholas is scheduled to make an appearance. Attendance is free, but registration is $10.

2019 Altoona Christmas Parade

Event Date: December 6, 2019
Time:  6:00 pm -7:00 pm CST
Place: Downtown Maine St.

The annual “Christmas in Alabama”  parade will once again be held in downtown Arab. Join in the fun by creating your own float, and stand the chance to win a cash prize, or just come down to enjoy the lights. Entries are free, but there is a $35 float-fee to be eligible for prize money. Prizes are:

  • 1st: $100
  • 2nd: $75
  • 3rd: $50

Chester Greenwood Parade

Chester Greenwood Day is the annual celebration of Farmington resident Chester Greenwood, the inventor of earmuffs. It is a day full of holiday fun, including a parade that kicks off at 11:00 AM.

Celebrate Christmas Madison style, with a quaint Maine parade. Santa will meet the parade at the Madison Public Library following the parade.

The Sedalia Chamber of Commerce holds its annual Christmas Parade downtown Sedalia. This year, the parade will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019. The alternate date will be Saturday, December 14, 2019. This year’s Christmas theme is “Your Christmas Story,” because everyone has their way of celebrating Christmas with their loved ones.
