About This Registration

It’s time to register for FLFR’s 19th annual Kids’ Day on the River (KDOR) on June 15. The award-winning program for Blount County* children and their families is fun-filled, activity-packed, and completely FREE, including lunch!

Located on the banks of the beautiful Locust Fork River, KDOR gives kids hands-on experience with the river while exploring its creatures, natural elements, and, of course, its water! Come experience why KDOR received the BEEP Award (Best Environmental Education Program) in 2008 from the Environmental Education Association of Alabama.

Each year is bigger and better than the last. You don’t want to miss it!

For important details about the event, please read through our FAQ’s

Registration is REQUIRED to attend the event. You will receive directions to the event after registering. To register click here.

*Because space is limited to 150 kids, FLFR gives preference to Blount County residents. Since KDoR doesn’t always fill up, if you live in another county, go ahead and register, and two weeks before the event we will confirm out-of-county families on a first-come-first-serve basis.
