Story Walk

Join us for a 1-mile stroll on our trails stopping to read along the way.  The StoryWalk project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpellier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle and Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.

Friday Farmers

Want to be a farmer? Come get your boots dirty and join the Pineland farmers as they explore the many jobs on the farm. Due to the nature of a working farm, programs may vary.

Ice Cream Making

Come help mix up a batch of homemade ice cream, and visit our dairy cows to learn where milk comes from. At the end, sample your yummy frozen treat. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to purchase tickets.  Tickets will be sold at the Education Barn on a first-come, first served basis.  Cash or charge accepted.

Udderly Amazing Cows

Try your hand at milking a cow! Come explore the dairy barns and learn about Holstein cows and how they are cared for. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to purchase tickets.  Tickets will be sold at the Education Barn on a first-come, first served basis.  Cash or charge accepted.

Strawberry Day

The 5th annual Strawberry Day will include fun family activities such a strawberry themed scavenger hunt, face painting, and ice cream! You can also pick your own strawberries for $2,50, from 7:00 am – 1:00 pm.

Harvest Lunch

Come with an appetite to eat and learn! You will harvest your own lunch and enjoy a picnic on the farm.

Salsa Making

Harvest fresh produce and herbs from the Pineland garden and learn how to make a farm fresh salsa. Type of salsa will vary.

Family Farm Yoga

Tea Party

Fresh, herbs, sunshine, and tea time in the farmyard. Sound inviting? Come pick and brew some herbal tea and learn a bit about plants and take home a sample tea bag.

Afternoon Tea & Garden Tour

Enjoy and relax in the beautiful garden surroundings. Stroll the winding paths or mingle with friends. Staff will be there to answer your garden questions. Iced Tea and light Pineland Farms refreshments will be served. Available Two dates each month this summer from 2:00 pm-4:30 pm. In the event of rain, Pineland will offer rain dates on most of our event dates. Please see the full event schedule including rain dates below:
